I host a few of my own projects (ajaxmytop, peardbdeploy, tangoiconsprite) on sf.net and it limits my exposure 2. it cuts off at least 100k visitors - from a business standpoint that's 200k+ ad impressions but SourceForge doesn't have a real choice in the matter. we're a US company and we have to comply with US law. the law is stupid. disclaimer: I work for SourceForge.

it pisses me off because:

1. I host a few of my own projects (ajaxmytop, peardbdeploy, tangoiconsprite) on sf.net and it limits my exposure
2. it cuts off at least 100k visitors – from a business standpoint that’s 200k+ ad impressions

but SourceForge doesn’t have a real choice in the matter. we’re a US company and we have to comply with US law. the law is stupid.
